I used to wonder who the hell would pay $20 for this teeny tiny bag of ground matcha tea powder…assuming that was completely unreasonable and unnecessary in my life.

Then I surrounded myself with individuals who treat themselves because they are worth, who invest in themselves because they deserve it and who honour their money, both flowing in and flowing out…and now I love my matcha lattes so much I’d rather have one at home instead of at the coffee shop. 🍵

Money is simply a mindset and a choice. Every dollar you spend is you making a choice about what matters to you.

There are no wrong or right choices (for the most part) only reflections of your thoughts, your beliefs and your limitations.

Choose to spend your money on items & experiences that will lift you up, allow you to feel abundant and beautiful, will fill your body with nourishment & fuel and will bring happiness into your life.

The funny thing is, I wasn’t okay with paying $20 for a bag of tea that would last me a few months at home, but I was okay with paying $5 for a latte at the coffee shop…that would last me 30 minutes and leave me craving more.

It’s all about perspective!

Today ask yourself; how can I honour and value my money more?

Perhaps you could gift a tea to a friend instead of yourself, or buy some flowers for your table at home, or buy a fresh bottle of probiotics because you’ve been out for a few weeks, or make an appointment to get your hair done, or take a luxurious walk at lunch and remind yourself that wealth is a mindset and in this moment…you are the wealthiest you could possibly be 💕🌈

Seeing Through The Eyes of Love

I always believed love was the ultimate ambition in life. To find love; to achieve love, meant that you were successful at life. The sheer romance and joy and excitement that love brought, THAT was what life was meant for.

And I still believe that…

But the difference between now and when I was 10 is that I no longer believe that I am destined to love just one person. I no longer view love as romance, passion, dates and flowers. I can now see love for what it is.

Pure, true and authentic bliss.

To love another human being, to love a plant, an animal, a sunrise, a moment, a feeling, THIS is the joyful secret of life.

When you can find the beauty in every experience and situation; whether it be a morning dew-filled walk around the lake or losing your mom when you’re only 19 years old, THIS is when you’ve found the magic.

The purpose of self help books and soulful podcasts and everything in-between ISN’T to keep you from experiencing pain.

Quite the contrary.

Any self help guru who knows their stuff will encourage you to invite in the pain, to sit with it, feel it, experience it.

Because the goal of our evolution as the human race isn’t to avoid negative experiences, it’s to practice the art of seeing through the eyes of love.

When you can see through the eyes of love, you see growth opportunities, personality traits being mirrored back to you, roses with thorns designed to protect such exquisite beauty and you feel complete gratitude. For in every experience, there is a lesson, a lesson in love.

How can you love yourself more?
How can you love your partner more?
How can you love your children, your parents, your friends and family more?
Your co-workers, your boss, your grocery check-out clerk?
Your barista, your debt collector, your high-school ex?

How can you offer more love?
How can you see through the eyes of love?

And it’s less about achieving this status of seeing through love, but more about simply being; embodying the love. Allowing the love to run through your veins in moments that are uplifting, and those that are trying.

With pure, authentic love in your heart, you will radiate as this blissful, balanced and profound being who knows the secret to life. People and animals will be drawn to you, without even knowing why.

So I ask you this,
How can you offer more love?
How can you EMBODY more love?
How can you see through the eyes of love?

Healing Adrenal Fatigue with Essential Oils

You need to get things moving through your system so you can release it and open up pathways to invite more in! Explore what outlets you have already; possibly you love to talk/write/sing/draw/day dream…whatever it may be. Somewhere that you can open up, truly be you and feel fully expressed. I find fatigue often stems from holding ourselves back. Once we feel fully expressed, we lighten and feel energized.

And if you’re an essential oil lover and want to bring in some holistic healing oils, try my personal favourite blend of energizing oils; Eucalyptus and Grapefruit. These two oils together will lift your mood, lighten your body and support you with concentration & focus.

And lastly, assess your personal balance…allow yourself the space and acceptance to feel all emotions. It’s okay to have an off day where you are a bit grumpy or unmotivated. You need that. It is allowing your body to rest, to repair and to prepare for bigger things that are on your horizon. Consider those days as the alternative to getting a nasty cold and being forced to spend time in bed.

With social media…take days away from it. Choose to ignore it. Spend a day with your uninfluenced thoughts…see what’s going on deep in your subconscious. It’s a great technology detox!!

Any type of burnout or fatigue is your body’s way of speaking to you. Honour it as an opportunity to connect deeper into yourself. Refrain from seeing it as a weakness and consider it an asset. Congratulate yourself on being internally connected enough to take the time to do what your body needs!!
